Lee Lavergne is a Manager for EHR Applications at Baylor Scott & White Health. Lee’s current role is focused on the management of the EHR and ARRA at all Baylor Scott and White North Texas facilities. He has over 35 years of healthcare experience and has held positions ranging from roles as Hospital Director Information Technology, Corporate Director, Consulting and Project Manager for revenue cycle and clinical systems. During his career, Lee has worked for Tenet, HCA and IBM before joining Baylor in 2007. Lee is a certified trainer for PROSCI Change Management, CPHIMS and CAHIMS.

Jonathan Overton

Jonathan Overton is a seasoned professional with over 20+ years’ experience in managing Project Management Offices, developing Project Managers and delivering successful multi-million programs/projects.  During the last 13 year’s Jonathan’s focus has been developing and maturing project management offices within the Healthcare industry.  Jonathan has worked in Healthcare, Transportation/Aviation, Consulting, Banking and Manufacturing.  In addition, Jonathan has managed departmental budgets in excess of $58M Operating and $15 Capital.  He served as Director of Technology for hospitals and led the technology implementation for a major joint-venture for rehabilitation services.  
Jonathan currently serves as a board member for the Society of Information Management.  He was also a board member for the Fort Worth PMI chapter over nine years serving in several capacities including President.  
Jonathan has his MBA from Texas Woman’s University and his PMP. He enjoys spending time with his family and especially with his two grand-children.

Kendra Vander Kamp

Kendra manages a team of strategic project managers in Baylor Scott and White Health’s IS PMO. Her experience includes more than 18 years of hands-on project and process management, as well as building PMOs across a wide span of industries. Among other related hobbies, Kendra holds a lifelong interest in learning and is currently pursuing an additional graduate degree in cognitive neuroscience at the University of Texas at Dallas.

Willie Johnson
Director of Governance and PMO

Willie Johnson is the Director of IT Governance and the Portfolio and Program Management Office for Texas Health Resources and a frequent speaker for several organizations, universities, and companies. For the past two years, Willie’s role has been focused on streamlining IT Governance processes, maturing the project management function, and collaborating with executive leadership on key strategic initiatives. Willie has been in the IT industry for over 20 years and has been influential in being the executive leader in some key corporate initiatives such as expanding a large credit card company to become a full service bank, establishing checks, balances, and controls to identify predatory lending practices while at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, and managing the technology integration of medical record systems due to the merger of American HealthTech and HealthLand. Currently, he is managing the IT Financial Management Initiative and serving as the Program Manager for the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Replacement Program. Mr. Johnson holds a MBA in Strategic Management and Marketing from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University; and the following certifications:  Certified Professional in Healthcare Management and Information Systems (CPHIMS), Program Management Professional (PgMP), Project Management Professional (PMP), Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation, and in ITIL Strategy.

Richard Y. Wroten, ThM, MA, EMBA
Project Manager, Clinical Applications

With sixteen years of healthcare experience and fourteen of those within the healthcare information technology field, Richard Y. Wroten currently works as a Senior Project Manager for Modis. Rick manages projects, people, and business operations by using a variety of knowledge and experiences from hospital operations, software implementations, healthcare IT project management, behavioral healthcare, and network design. He currently serves as the Epic Beaker Project Manager for Children's Health in Dallas, Texas.
Rick led the first implementation to connect a large hospital lab system, Sutter Health, to the state of California’s CALRedie exchange for Reportable Lab Conditions. He also led Forrest General Hospital’s Beaker MSDH interface implementation, which was the beta test for the State of Mississippi's Department of Health. Rick managed multiple Epic Lab and HIM implementations and built Epic Scheduling, Registration, and HIM applications. Having worked on the provider side of HIT, the vendor, and the consulting aspect of the business, he brings a well-informed perspective to both the project and program leadership. 
Seeing himself as a lifetime learner, Rick has an Executive MBA from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University, a Master in Counseling from Amber University, a Master of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary, and a BA in Psychology from Louisiana Tech University. Rick is also an ordained minister and has served as a missionary to Haiti, West Indies, and Mexico.
